Fish Hook Cabin

“Steve helped us visualize our cabin with a much better sense of openness and flow, with increased space for family and friends, along with a wonderful orientation towards the lake. I could say more but am generally a restrained Scandinavian.”  – Sigrid, Owner
A mid-century modern cabin where the attached garage had the best view of the lake is reorganized by moving bedrooms into the former garage. A sunroom is opened up to the lake views, dining area, and enlarged living room beyond. A future phase adds a covered deck for grilling and an attached storage area for boat and lake toys.
The former garage floor was ground and polished to reveal the rocky aggregate, a rich natural material complementing the extensive woody interior of knotty pine paneling and plywood ceilings from the original “mod-cabin”.
